Three Formats, One Skill Set Worth Building
Odds represent two things at once: how likely an outcome is, and what you stand to receive if your read is correct. Decimal odds — the format you'll see most on our sportsbook — show total return per unit staked, so 2.50 means you get back 2.50 for every 1.00 placed. Fractional odds, common in some football markets, express profit only: 3/2
means three units profit on every two wagered. Moneyline, familiar from international basketball and American football markets, uses positive and negative values to show the favourite and the underdog. Once you recognize which format a market is using, calculating your return takes seconds.
